Performance art is described as an art which is combined with visual art with a touch of drama along with it. Performance art has a fugacious medium by nature.
People say that performance art only exists while it is performed. If this is the case, then can anyone capture the real performance art in any of the ways? Some people say that performance art is cherishing the memory in mind and then putting it down on canvas. Others will believe that is about obtaining the record from the visual memory which can be taken from a photograph. It may also come from any films or graphics.
The style of Performance art is imitated from different forms of arts like or may be an activity which is not linked with the art directly like traditions and rituals. The purpose of this art has always been a challenge from those traditional forms of art such as sculpture and paintings. When these form of arts were not able to satisfy the artist's need and were obstinate for them, they have always turned up to this art to find something new and attract new audiences.
The varieties of this art were known as "action" from the post-war period. An artist from Germany has fancied this term because it is the determinate form of art from those conventional forms of entertainment available in theatre. This term also refers to as an exertion of American performance art that could be demystifying "action painting", which does not include the art on canvas but on something else - usually the artist's own body.
The types of performance art may include all the action. It can be theatre, dance, music, magic, opera, illusion, circus or even public speaking.
