To whom it may concern, The contents of this file message and all attachments are confidential and are intended solely for the eyes of GP, David; Head of The Bureau of Genetic Welfare, and associates. The information is legally privileged and of utmost importance. Following the brutal and devastating Purity War, which resulted from attempts to genetically remove negative behaviors from societies, the Bureau has been founded to use selective breeding to repair the genetic 'damage' over several generations. We have forcibly isolated several urban population centers and used memory serum to keep the populations from attempting to rebel or escape. Once a large enough portion of the populations are Divergent, they will be told to leave the city. We have organized the populations into Factions because this has been found to speed up the process. We use extensive surveillance systems to monitor the cities, but have allowed certain atrocities to occur out of fear that intervention would compromise the experiments. To keep numbers and statistics current and up-to-date, we created this database. This transmission is sent in trust, for the sole purpose of delivery to the head of the Chicago Project. Four x reader (Divergent)
{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? The Transfer (A Divergent backstory to Eric)
This is a backstory for Eric. I've taken bits and pieces from the Divergent series and also the movie. I also used the book about Four that recently came out. It takes you through his journey through initiation on in to leadership. He also develops a love interest that isn't in either the books or the movie.
