Stephanie was a popular 17 year old girl who went to a high school in Los Angelos, California, with her best friends, Ryan, Cameron, Grayson, Jessica, Angel, and her boyfriend Jack. They did everything together, and have been friends since 8th grade.
Grayson was closest to Stephanie. They became friends in kindergarten. They spent most of their time just hanging out together and being stupid. Everyone in his family loves her... except his twin Ethan. Ethan never talked to Stephanie or her friends. He was another popular, cocky douche, who played lacrosse and football. But he was best friends with her boyfriend Jack.
Stephanie's life was great, until her parents starting to get through a divorce, and her housekeeper, who she considers her second mother, gets diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.
She started looking for a job, because she wants to start learning how to care for herself and her brothers. Even though her family has enough money for her to use, she still tries to make some on her own, because she wants all the money to go towards Susan's health.
After finding out her boyfriend Jack cheated on her, her life starts to get worse. Her grades drop, and her cheer coach makes her take a break from cheering, until she's focused again. Cheer is the reason why she is getting into college, and if she does not cheer in the championship, she will not be accepted.
She later starts to see a different side of Ethan, as he helps her out and starts to be there for her. Stephanie starts to think that maybe he's not as douchey as he makes himself seem...
