“Rain drops dripped down his face and off his hair. Then we pulled away gently from each other and he said three words. The three words that all girls want to hear. “I love you.” he gently whispered into my ear. I opened my mouth to say something to him, but no words would come out. I’d never heard silence quite that loud .It was incrdibe. He was increbible. I kissed him again and smiled at him, “I love you too,” I managed to whisper." A CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LIFE. I named my story this because life is crazy, but every moment is precious. It's about a typical teenage girl. Me, to be exact. I have immature friends, annoying parents and no love interest, but I smile my way through the day. When Tom, an old acquaintance, catches my eye he teaches me that we all have to make the most of this thing which we call ‘life’. ‘Dream as if you’ll live forever and live as if you’ll die today.’ Tom teaches me that it’s ok to let someone in and as we talk more and more, I fall for him and I realise that he’s special. We share secrets, laughs and kisses, but months later he shows me that I should never have let him find a way into my heart. After everything we’d been through, he stops talking to me. Just like that. No explanation, no apology, no nothing. He slips through my fingers, and I just have to let him. He’s the reason that every day I was upset and I cried myself to sleep every night. Will I ever discover what really happened to give him second thoughts about us? Months later and he's forgotten about me but I’m still having a hard time letting go. ‘If you love something let it go.
