Just by Chance- Phan AU
Dan is that kid. The popular boy that every girl swoons over, that everyone wants to be friends with, the boy that's a complete jerk to anyone lower on the totem pole. But deep down, he's just trying to hide and ignore his own secret- that he's gay. Phil is Dan's usual target. Openly gay, awkward, and nerdy, he seems to be easily bullied. He's always too afraid to say anything and would rather stay in the background and get through high school and go to university. When Dan's grades slip 🔚 he needs to bring them up or else repeat his senior year, Phil is assigned to tutor Dan. It seems to be a terrible coincidence that the two are brought together, but it's so much more. Thank you @tissuesfortheissues for this amazing cover Highest ranking: 450 in fanfiction Mentions of self harm and suicideComplete

Dan is quiet and never in a very good mood. Due to the bully at school and his general home life, he's depressed and he doesn't like to eat much as it only makes him more depressed. Dan truly just wants to be loved. Phil is usually always happy, his home life may be scattered but he for the most part doesn't let it bother him, and he seems to just go with the flow, that is until Dan catches his attention and Phil makes a decision to stick up for Dan. But why ? {told in both Dan and Phil's points of view} {mentions of bullying, depression, torture, strong language, and is overall just very sad.}Complete

Tinder - D.JH.
[COMPLETED] (This was written before Dan came out! I am in no way meaning to invalidate his sexuality, I love him to death!) Based on Dan's video, "Would you date THE REAL Dan?" but it takes a twist. Said video has since been deleted due to an user request to Tinder's app. Rest in peace, Would you date THE REAL Dan?, 2017-2017. Forever in our memories, but never quite taking it to our hearts.
