After a nuclear war and living dead plague has spread through most of the world, communities were formed. Everything is different. The poorer communities scavenge from those who prosper, and a New Government is struggling to take control in what used to be the United States of America. Down south, near Florida, is where a young teenager named Gwen Davis, her mother, and aunt all have decided upon in the Saturn Community. It was there she found her new family, a new start. It made more sense to pretend everything was just another move as she was thrown from the world of high school and prom nights to scouring for supplies and learning how to defend their new community alongside the others that weren't medical or teachers or cooks. Through her teenage years, Gwen will really see what keeps them together both mentally and physically, and if this makeshift family bond will even last at all.

The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. The school started off as any other school year for Autumn Winters. But at the worst possible moment an outbreak occured and the whole school turned into chaos. Rumors have been flying ever since a group of scientist in the Feet City who were capable on the unsuccessful attempt of the nuclear experimentation. Due to the corrupted experiment, unexpectedly it leads to a nuclear breakage which causes the ejection of harmful chemicals and results to genetic mutation. Somehow, the genetic mutation generated the abnormal DNA disorder of human beings and caused them to become a flesh eating people. But the thing is that people didn't believe and just ignored the whole conspiracy. They continued their works, daily routine and basis. And there goes a class of Grade 10 Gethsemane students went to school, not expecting a big nuclear explosion that ejected a nuclear smoke and covered the entire campus. After inhaling the smoke, they've lost their consciousness for about two weeks and woke up founding out that their fellow schoolmates were gone. The class of Grade 10 Gethsemane were the only people in the whole campus left alive which confused them so much. Eventually, they believe and concluded that apocalypse is really happening. So they stick together to plan something out from the most feared zombie apocalypse. Society is crumbling. Zombie apocalypse is happening.
