The poorer communities scavenge from those who prosper, and a New Government is struggling to take control in what used to be the United States of America. Down south, near Florida, is where a young teenager named Gwen Davis, her mother, and aunt all have decided upon in the Saturn Community. It was there she found her new family, a new start. It made more sense to pretend everything was just another move as she was thrown from the world of high school and prom nights to scouring for supplies and learning how to defend their new community alongside the others that weren't medical or teachers or cooks. No one thought the apocalypse would really happen. When it did, no one was prepared for the horrors that came with it. Everyone except Avigail, or Avi for short, and Marlowe. Their past lives caused them to be able to fend for themselves, and only themselves. Until they meet Reyes, that is. He took them in like they were his daughters and taught them everything he knew, causing a bond to be created between the two girls and him. When trouble arises, it's up to Marlowe and Avi to make everything right and restore balance to their world. And when someone finds the cure, maybe even the whole world.

The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. Human extinction was inevitable and the probability of surviving wasn't just slightly possible, it was impossible. Especially when she's alone. Disclaimer- Any similarities to other stories or films is purely accidental and not done intentionally. Obviously, I adopted the idea of zombies and do not claim to have created them.

Somehow, the genetic mutation generated the abnormal DNA disorder of human beings and caused them to become a flesh eating people. But the thing is that people didn't believe and just ignored the whole conspiracy. They continued their works, daily routine and basis. And there goes a class of Grade 10 Gethsemane students went to school, not expecting a big nuclear explosion that ejected a nuclear smoke and covered the entire campus. After inhaling the smoke, they've lost their consciousness for about two weeks and woke up founding out that their fellow schoolmates were gone. The class of Grade 10 Gethsemane were the only people in the whole campus left alive which confused them so much. Eventually, they believe and concluded that apocalypse is really happening. So they stick together to plan something out from the most feared zombie apocalypse. Society is crumbling. Zombie apocalypse is happening.
