This is a fictional story that I got inspired to write after I watched a video on alternate history pertaining to the Cold War.

This is the first of many parts. I am still writing and fact-checking many parts of this story so expect more soon. 

The character's characteristics are based on traits of people I know and a few are based on myself. The events that the characters go through could be a little bit traumatic and young readers should be wary that the events could be violent. I will be using period-correct language for the 1950's, Cold War era. So just a fair warning on that. I promise it won't be racist or vulgar, but it will be language and phrases that were used a lot back then.

This story kind of explains why I have problems finishing stories, u have ideas then it like how do I make them not so cliché or cringe worthy. A short story with a semi finished ending, it leaves me a bit of wriggle room to add to, if I decide to. Any similarities or references are purely for fiction and I did not base this story on anything except if the third world war started. It is fiction people. All credit to the original owners or creator's for the borrowed characters and media. I own the story and the original characters. There is some references to dark topics and subjects, pleae be warned. They do only skim it though.

But now in a New world where workers are oppressed and leaving in technology of the stone age, the Red Bear is awoken once more, and nothing would stop it from liberating the workers from it's chains. He was sent home due to the alleged endangerment of his fellow soldiers, however, this granted him some immunity. His home was in a small town that was populated by no less than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of a global disaster. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. It would have been almost horrifying if it weren't for the fact that I was so unattached to everything. Now I'm alone...
