This is a fictional story that I got inspired to write after I watched a video on alternate history pertaining to the Cold War. This is the first of many parts. I am still writing and fact-checking many parts of this story so expect more soon. The character's characteristics are based on traits of people I know and a few are based on myself. The events that the characters go through could be a little bit traumatic and young readers should be wary that the events could be violent. I will be using period-correct language for the 1950's, Cold War era. So just a fair warning on that. I promise it won't be racist or vulgar, but it will be language and phrases that were used a lot back then.All Rights Reserved
