Hunger Games
The Hunger Games are being held. Every year one female and male tribute 12 to 18 years old are chosen to go to an arena and fight to the death. We have this tradition because a long time ago all the districts had an uprising (war) against the capitol. The districts lost and the capitol won. To ensure this never happened again they made the hunger games. Children killing children. A message from the capitol to say that they're ruthless and don't care who they hurt. This story has 2 point of views. (None of the actual stuff that happened in the hunger games books has happened.)

What if the rebellion failed, the hunger games continued? These are the 150th annual hunger games! To remind the citizens of the failed rebellion the Capitol decided to hide ruins in the arena. Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her.
