Destiny:- The events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future, more commonly referred to as a hidden power believed to control future events.

Lee Pearl doesn't believe in such a thing as fickle as destiny. For her life is just a test, a game to see who can survive the longest without crumbling under the pressures of the hurdles that it consists of. Used to being alone and unnoticed she finds that cracks begin to form on her harsh persona when she is thrown headfirst into a world of secrets and long lost forgotten legacies and tales. Stirred and unnerved by the rapid changes in her life she finds herself being thrust onto a crossroad between the familiar path of cynicism and hate or the newly forged road of hope that has once again been ignited within her. Betrayal is something she had been forced to develop a hard skin for over the years and so she finds it incredibly hard to admit the fact that she could pulse for another's presence so much, even if said person had been written down long ago to be her destined unwinding...

Pearl faces the biggest challenge she's ever known when the mysterious stranger she meets fleetingly on a whim turns out to be the answer to all her burning questions and desires.
