Eloise Banks daughter of the vicious gang leader Andy Banks has been best friends with Shane O’Connery son of the blood thirsty Frank O’Connery a rival gang leader since they could remember. Nothing can tear them apart, not even love. The Banks and the O’Connery’s have fought for so long that the actual reason for the rivalry has been lost resulting in tremendous amounts of bloodshed. Where Andy is a rough leader who mixes himself in the wrong crowd dealing drugs Frank is the opposite, a rich leader with a ton of connections making himself almost unstoppable. Will their family’s differences cause their worlds to be ripped apart of will it bring them closer together? Eloise and Shanes friendship should have terminated years ago when they found out each other’s true identities but a hidden love kept them fighting to stay together. The hatred they should feel towards each other because of their family’s history does not exist; instead there is friendship and a burning passion for each other that waits to be discovered. The only way they can be together as best friends is for Eloise to go by a different name while with Shane’s family, Eloise Downy. Both Shane and Eloise are against their family’s feuds insisting that they will not be a part of it despite their parents’ wishes. Fighting strong for their friendship and what they believe in the two friends come across many obstacles in the path to freedom. What happens when Eloise stays with Shane’s family over the summer? Was it really just friendship that the two have been feeling over the years or is it something else? Eloise and Shane must figure it out for themselves before it’s too late.
