She was used to being alone. Used to hiding in trees, gripping her belongings as they searched for her below. Used to losing those she loved to them. Blights caused her pain. They caused everyone pain. She questioned what the point of living was. Now-a-days, it was just scraping by to survive. Then she heard about Ryseden, a utopia of sorts. They promise to shield those free of infection. They promise a warm bed with food. They promise a purpose in life. And that's exactly what she needs. u·to·pi·a: An imagined "perfect" realm. Where everyone is content; where things get done by people who are happy to do them, and where problems that have plagued our world for over a millennium no longer apply. Nightmare
"Dreams. Everyone human has them. Some believe in them. Some think it's a pigment of their own imaginations. It's soothing to see yourself in a beautiful world. And it leaves you full of hope when you wake up. But there are days when you won't have these sweet dreams. No more beautiful worlds with bright sunsets, sweet flowers and rainbow bridges. Instead, you see pain, horror, gore and darkness. They wake you with a fright and leave your bed wet with sweat. And these are known..........as nightmares. But this is not a nightmare you wake up from. This is everlasting torment. This is my story............... my nightmare." Candace once beautiful world is turned into an everlasting doomsday as bio-hazardous gasses are released into the atmosphere, Turning all mankind into walkers.
