Lost Voices is a book about a girl who goes mute after her mother's death. Her father basically breaks down after his wife's death. Love (the main character) works to support her Dad and herself. She meets someone that changes her life for the better.

I said as my consciousness began to slip away. "We'll be best friends forever." But she has her best friends Veronica and Amira to guide her. As Nicole journeys to recovery and tries to strengthen her friendships, trust and suspense come to play. Weird unexplainable, but overlooked events occur, Nicole begins to have nightmares, and Veronica's behaviours become strange. Nicole has no choice but to find herself questioning her reality.Complete
