Sins at Midnight

Skylar's life has been messed up for a while. Her mom died when she was 12 years old, which turned her father into an abusive drunk, who'd wake up the next morning with no memory of what had happened the night before. Eventually, Skylar and Perry, her best friend, leave for college at Colombia University after several years of torment at home. Even there, tragedy and disaster follow Skylar like the undisguisable stench of skunk. There, she meets Liam, an adorable lunatic, who has terrible pick up lines and a weird double-sided personality. Liam begins to admire Skylar, and she begins to like him too, till Liam realizes a terrible truth, one that ruins their blooming love story; she was lethal to him and his family. Now Liam must decide if he should follow the path that his murderous parents paved for him in order to protect his family, or to create his own path and protect Skylar.
