You don't notice what is happening in their personal life. Frank Iero is a victim of this. He bases his final judgements on just how people look. Though, he has a realisation. When he falls deeply in love with the school's literal demon. Gerard Way. Even though he acts tough and strong on the outside, he has a medical problem that could possibly kill him. No one knows except his divorced mother and his brother. So when he spills his heart out to Frank, he just hopes that he'll take it the right way.

To Frank, it felt like every thing he did needed to be perfect. He needed to be perfect. Everything had an order, and a way to do it, and it needed to stay in that order and be done that way. Everything in his life needed to be the best it possibly could be, he would not, he could not settle for less... He really didn't know about a lot of things, but one thing he will know, is that life is a wild ride from start to finish.
