Lily's life was fairly simple at the start. She had a couple friends, a good relationship with her adopted parents, a number of extraordinary powers. Maybe that last part wasn't so simple. She tried to keep them secret, until she was inadvertently dragged into an underground war for control of the earth. She and a team of other peculiar people band together to fight off the extraterrestrial threat, serving as what is likely Earth's only defense.

Fast forward several years and Lily is all grown up, embittered and hardened by battle, having shaped herself into the deadliest fighting machine in the galaxy, possibly the universe. She fights to stop the same alien threat, but now on another planet, her birthplace. The war is entirely overt here, and now not only is she fighting the foreign invasion but misogyny as well, trying to prove her worth as a soldier despite being a girl. Along with all this is the constant pressure for her to join 'the family business' of her birthparents. Follow Lily in her struggles with betrayal, power, loyalty, and (maybe even love?) as her thrilling life unfolds.All Rights Reserved
