The line between beauty and beastliness is not always black and white.

Aiden is a boy with anger issues. He has had trouble keeping and making new friends, and feels like he's all alone. His family is getting frustrated with his unwillingness to try and change. His father says he will send him to a real mental hospital if he doesn't at least try and make a difference. That's just the issue. Aiden doesn't know how to change. Anger is all he knows. It's the only emotion he knows how to express.

Marina used to be Aiden's best friend as a child. But once his parents got divorced and Aiden began to act differently, Marina's father suggested she give Aiden his space while he figured things out. Over time, they grew apart, but their families still stayed friends.

After a freak accident, Marina and Aiden are thrown together.

Can Marina soften Aiden's guarded heart before it's too late?

This is a modern retelling of the classic tale, Beauty and the Beast.
