After being ignored for years by the small town she grew up in, Adelaide decides it's time to start fresh somewhere else as someone else. Fed up with the limitations that being a girl bring, she decides to take up the guise of a man in hopes of increasing her success as an artist. However, her plans get deterred when Adelaide accidentally becomes a stowaway on Henry Tudor's ships. Before Adelaide can fully grasp her situation, she's pulled into a world of feuding families where a generational war rages to determine the next King of England.

A historical fiction romance story centered around England during the late 1400s. It [loosely] follows the story of Henry Tudor and the War of the Roses as the royal houses of Lancaster and York fight to claim the throne.
