' She breathed in deeply, picking up on a faint and fresh scent of mint on him. "Even if it's only me, is that enough for you?" Loki purred with a knowing smile, still hugging her tightly, "am I enough for you?" Pulling her head away from his chest, she looked up into his eyes. They were much closer than she'd ever seen them before. Blues and greens danced in his irises, and the emotion of love was strongly defined around his being. "Even if only one will see me, it is enough," she confirmed quietly, "but you...are more than enough." She wasn't sure why the breath caught in her throat, or why she found herself nearly speechless under his charming gaze. And he wasn't sure how she'd managed to get under his skin and into his heart, but there was no doubting that fact. The joy on Loki's face at hearing that he was more than enough for this woman made her feel as though she were flying through space. ' • • • She crashed into Earth with no memories at all. Loki Laufeyson - The Experiment {1}
B12. That was what HYDRA had called her ever since she had been snatched from her parent's grasps at the young age of 4. She had been experimented on, tortured and pushed to her limits for so long that she was beginning to forgotten her old life. One where she had been normal, a life without fear, without misery, without the monster living inside her. But her whole world changed when the God of Mischief discovered her in her white-tiled cell. Upon accidently being found by Loki and the Avengers, B12, also known as Emily, finally has another shot at living a normal life. A mostly normal life. Her powers make it difficult for anything to be normal. As well as having Loki Laufeyson as a friend. Or possibly more than a friend. -.-.-.- Nobody has ever wanted to help me before." I whispered. "They had always hurt me or been afraid of me. I've never had anyone how wanted to... I don't know, be friends with me." "I know how that feels." Loki said quietly. "I've never had any friends. Everyone always wanted to be friends with my brother instead of me. He got all the attention, while I was forgotten about. Sometimes, I would come across that one person who became a friend, but then they would meet my brother and leave me to be friends with him instead" He fell silent, jaw clenched, and I couldn't help place a comforting hand on his wrist. "I promise I won't leave you." I smiled softly. -.-.-.- I do not own any of the Marvel characters in this book except for Emily.
