She has a split personality where she thinks she’s Sheik, a worrier who fights for good. Ganondorf: the ruler of Hyrule who killed the king for his throne. Hearing the plea of Princess Zelda, a small guardian travels backward in time to warn the Kingdom of Hyrule of the Calamity fast approaching, with Zelda's sealing powers lying dormant and the identity of the heroes unknown, the kingdom begins planning for another way to defeat Calamity Ganon, however, a mysterious evil wants everything to go as planned, as seen from the future, putting the lives of the princesses in peril.

Opting to forgo their titles and start a new life as regular travelers before starting to rebuild the kingdom, Link and Zelda begin their new life in the Era of the Wild, trying to discover why the monsters still exist. A Legend of Zelda fan fiction. Link Arkwood is Hyrule's greatest thief, but a simple mistake landed him in the castle dungeons. Calamity Ganon was stronger than anyone had anticipated. Link and Zelda gave their lives to seal him away in the ruins of Hyrule Castle. But an unexpected complication with Mipha's Grace has given Link a corporeal ghost form. Now stuck amongst the living, with one foot in the realm of the dead, he must struggle to figure out what Hylia needs him to do. Luckily, the Champions of Old are there to help him.
