Amelie Roberts is awkward, terribly sarcastic and loves playing pranks. She also can't wait for the senior year with more math and more encounters with Everson's very own queen bee Fiona-note the sarcasm. Recently, Max Walker, Leo's older brother-annoying, overly flirty and a complete manwhore-moved back from boarding school to experience his last year in a normal high school before graduation. Sure, Amelie could deal with that. All she had to do was ignore him and his stupid pick up lines, as well as his constant presence-the one and only bad con about her friendship with Leo. However, things don't go as planned, and Amelie finds herself stuck in a deal with the handsome devil. Amelie has 3 months, or 84 days to get herself out of this huge mess. She has a couple of tricks up her sleeve to help her. But she isn't the only one. Max also has a secret that he plans on keeping to himself. Or will he? One thing's for sure, fate has plenty of tricks in store for the unsuspecting couple.

"I can't do this," I whispered. "You're my best friend, Jack." "Ava, please- " I did the only thing I could think of doing. I ran. .................................................................................. Ava has been best friends with Jack since as long as she can remember. They grew up on the same street and have lived next door to each other since they were five. There have been smiles, tears, prank wars and pizza movie nights every Saturday night. They've seen each other laugh, they've seen each other cry, but they've never crossed that line of becoming more than just friends. But as they start their last year of school things begin to change. A new boy, Caleb joins Ava's school and begins to take notice of the beautiful woman Ava is growing into. As she explores new opportunities and takes more risks, her friendship with Jack gets tested in new ways she never even thought possible. But it might just be that what Ava and Jack have both been searching for, has been in front of them all along.
