Now she’s 16, Percy 17, and can’t see him with another girl without thinking that that should be her in his arms, not Evelyn Blatner(or Bratner, as Annabeth and Thalia called her), the head cheerleader. I recommend you read the revised version for a better experience! Annabeth Chase is that girl. She's beautiful, smart, and happens to have a full ride scholarship to run track at Stanford University next year. Percy Jackson is definitely NOT that. He gets C's on a good day and would never be seen at the library, much less studying. No. He's always looking for a good time. With his quick wit and rebellious attitude, he's always the life of the party. With Percy's help, Annabeth composes a list of all the tasks she wants to accomplish by the end of senior year. They consist of: ditching school, skinny dipping, and falling in love. (Just to name a few) Can she check off all her boxes?
