Lykaios Croft, or Kai for short, has always been special. She was raised in a well-known, rich family. 

Kai has just reached the age of sixteen and is being sent to 'The Academy'. This boarding school is not like the normal schools in the real world. Stellar Academy is for the gifted. Like, really gifted. The students that go here have a special power or powers that they are born with. 

Kai just so happens to be the daughter of two powerful stellars. A stellar is the name for a gifted person. 

Since Kai is well known, stellars often wonder what her gift is. Will she take after her mother or her father, both, or neither? The only people that know what her gift is are her closest family and her absolute best friend. 

She has to face a crazy world with hormonal teenagers, crazy best friends, boys, and an evil that is lurking just around the corner. 

This is her struggle of living up to her parents' name and writing her story! Evil may be around the corner, but with the help of friends, old and new, she will accomplish anything and everything!

Disclaimer: this book is lgbtq friendly, and has more than one love interest. there is no love triangle, but there is a poly romance vibe. it is teen fiction, so it does not get explicit. The main character does not participate in SH and there is no SA. Dianna is free. Finally. Now she just wants to stay that way.
