~The prophecy of Ichen~
1014 A.D.
'The child was born on a full red moon, soon after the little man invaded the castle, killed the help & the king. The queen was terrified & offered the little man all the riches of the kingdom, if only he would leave the newborn child alone.
The little man answered that "No amount of riches could stop his dotty, but slaying a child is no mans right or dotty" & so he left the newborn child alive, but alone. The red moon saddened by what she witnessed gave the child a gift, a power to restore the peace & the balance of the kingdom, but this gift would only be given once every generation to one who truly deserves it, to one who hates evil & helps every one. If the generation is tainted the power is locked away until the century passes & the one who can truly wield it is born, but in locking the power for a whole century, comes great danger, for every century that the power is sealed it will grow stronger & stronger until it can no longer be tamed by those with a clean heart.'
It's been 1,000 years since the first wielder of the gift was born & it's been 500 years since the last known wielder was born & passed, the power locking its self away when greed & trattorie arose. A clean heart hasn't been born from there on, but the fates have some thing els in store for the gift of the red moon...
