I was very pleased today to learn that this piece received a second place medal in the short story division! It really meant a lot to me writing it, because it is an allegory for actual events in my life, and it truly is touching to know that the judges appreciated it.

In related news, I am deleting my first attempted story on wattpad, Woman of the Earth. It simply was not going in a direction I cared for, and in fact, this story is exactly what Woman of the Earth was meant to be, but better. Thank you to everyone who read that early relic of mine, and sorry about any disappointment resulting from its deletion.
