"Emma," she whispered. "I know you don't want to hear this, but I think we need to do something about this. Livy isn't going to stop. She's more than just a bully--she's a threat. We need to gain power, a good reputation so that the next time she strikes, we win. Can you do that?" She asked, looking me in the eyes. "Emma?"
I looked away and nodded, my throat not working.
"So it's settled. Who's up for a makeover?"
Seventeen year old Emma Ashby has never really belonged anywhere. She's an average teenage girl except she's bullied relentlessly, and she's the embodiment of self esteem issues. It seems like it'll never end. That is until Emma is given the chance to change it all.
Become the reputation that they all have labelled her, or sell away the only thing that makes her any bit special: Her identity. Emma is sick of all of these social airheads ruining her highschool career, and with the help of new boy Miles Briggs she makes her choice.
In the end will it help her achieve the happiness she's always wanted? Or will it only destroy her?
(This book is ongoing. This is a book about self discovery and overcoming bullying. Bullying is a tough topic as it touches many of us. I would like to spread more awareness about this topic in a way that might be considered cliché. But clichés are awesome and it's only the execution of them that determines how a story ends up)
(All characters in this novel are fictional and any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental)
Happy reading!
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
