"Can you not see what's going on around us? People are disappearing without any warning. Is that funny to you? Does it not worry you at all that you could be next? Does it not scare you that you could wake up tomorrow, and I could just be gone? Because it scares me. A lot."

***

Widespread unexplainable disappearances prompt a group of teenagers to leave their empty homes in search of the source of The Fade.

Will they find an answer and a way to stop the disappearances, or will they too succumb to The Fade?

***

Inspired by a series of spectacularly weird dreams.

Gently caressing my temple, he gazes at me as if I'm the most delicate treasure. His lips kiss my fingers. "They did. A few years late but They did. Their mercy on me is you." ______________ While World War II is absorbed in its own devastation, a runaway slave stumbles upon a meadow. I panickedly walked down the now empty hallway I heard some footsteps behind me I turned around to see the idiot who was NOT my GIRLFRIEND. "Don't follow me," I said loud and kept walking. But that idiot couldn't understand a hint "If you Do not stop following me I swear to the goddess I'm going to hurt you," I turned around to look at her "Look I'm sorry I didn't mean that to happen" "You didn't mean to tell the whole school that we are a couple when I have literally only ever talked to you one time?"I asked angrily. "Well yeah I did mean to do that," She answered with a frown trying to think about what to say. But I didn't give her a chance as I accidentally lifted my foot and hit her hard in between her legs. I felt something as my foot connected with her crotch but I didn't think about it As she fell on the empty hallway. Holding her hand in between her legs While saying something like Goddess and hot. I didn't listen as I walked out of the school hallway and left her there. {COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

Chapter one be like : "I Sam Wilson promise not to do anything disrespectful or bad towards Thomas for the rest of my life as a child." So you just saw that idiot? Back before my hair was red before i looked like this. That promise I broke too. Ok listen you wouldn't blame me! I made that promise as a 5 year old once my mom and dad went missing and my older brother had to raise me. Im 14 now and my brother 21. If anything I'm everyones second choice. Also also! I AM A GIRL!!! Not a boy! I just have my hair cut short because its better that way. I wrote all this down in my dairy and closed it. "Sam?" My brother walked in. "What?" I replied back. "You know how your therapist suggested going to a special teen camp?" "Yeah." "Well this summer your going to one!" "What?! Camp...? Thomas I'm not 6." "Well you are now!" "Are you going with me at least?" "Yeah! I'm working there! I can't just leave you there." "Oh my goddddd-" I rolled my eyes and put my head back on my pillow. Special camp!? Im not sped! I'm not going! "I already got your stuff packed! We start heading there next week!" Why does he sound exited. I looked him in the eyes and than rolled mine. "Come on Samuel!" "Shut up! I dont care!" I put my headphones back in and ignored his dumb speech of sibling bonding. Seriously? This is why he's still single. Even I have gotten asked out. Hear me out he hasn't had a girlfriend at all! How do you not get a girlfriend in this amount of time!? Instead of signing me up for some stupid shit you could be on tinder finding a girl! But nooooooo sign my little sister up for camp!!! Ugh whatever.

[# 88 in TEEN FICTION on 14/3/18.] [#5 in angerissues on 10/05/2018] COMPLETED!!! No matter where you come from, your dreams are always valid. RULE 1: Never let anyone under estimate the power of your dreams. RULE 2: Always follow rule one. These were the only principles little Ria lived by. Her devoting and protective nature always came out as harsh and bitch-y. Everytime she felt threatened, her claws came out, ready to defend...to destroy. It's only you who knows the value of your dreams. So, what will she do when her exterminator walks into her life, ready to ruin everything she lives for. She fight's. A fight between two souls. ________________________________ "Who do you think you are?" she asked, bravery seeping through every syllable leaving her mouth. A devil carves fear, and when you don't give him that, he is agitated. "Your nightmare baby." he smirked as he leaned closer to her. They say never look into his eyes...he is evil. Don't cross paths with him...he is unforgiving. Never challenge him...he is destructive. But what did she do??? Every damn thing she wasn't supposed to! Add a punch to the already shaky equation and you'll find yourself amidst drama...teenage drama. Is it right to let these two souls collide? "I am not your damn servant whom you order around, get that straight through your thick skull!" with that she walked away like a pro if I may say so...leaving him staring at the place where she previously stood. When an ego is hurt, revenge is born. "Come on guys. . .we need to sort out some things," all his friends could do was watch; watch helplessly, as destruction planted it's ugly claws into their lives. A tale of destruction, misery, loyalty, friendship, trust and betrayal. "If you call yourself a dreamer, I call myself a dream-snatcher. You won't even know what hit you, little girl," he thought, as he smirked wickedly at her retreating figure. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Has mild cursing be warned!

Beneath the Shadowlanders

50 parts Complete

We knew something wasn't right from the moment we awoke. It was like something was missing - a part of our very souls - and we couldn't sense the deficiency, no matter how hard we tried. A hundred million eyes adjusted to the dark all at once, all surprised to be awakened so soon. We ran through our checklists of limbs and senses, drawing ourselves out of our dreams piece by piece. Some went back to sleep, unaware, unbothered, too tired to notice the difference. Some lay in bed, too anxious to stand until the light of dawn crept through their windows at last, and they were sure the monsters in their closets had gone back to sleep. Some leapt from their slumbers, more keenly aware than others that the missing pieces were important. But we didn't know. We couldn't have. Not until we found ourselves standing in the light and discovered: We no longer had shadows.
