Temporary

Laurel is a nihilistic teenager who is still trying to figure out her purpose in life. She lives in a world where the people around her have naturally occuring powers they gain as they get older, but the only problem is that Laurel has always had her power, and to her it is the worst gift she could ever have been given, which is the ability to feel other's emotions. She only believes in the temporary, that nothing will last forever and it is useless to put effort into life if it doesn't last. Her hope for the future is grim, and she only relies on her daily routine every day along with the one friend she has, until her childhood best friend reappears and changes everything...
