Naruto was doing fine in life, he would be setting out to do training with pervy sage soon, and there was no major threat to the village, but one fateful event destroyed everything. He found himself imprisoned by the very village that he had fought for, only for his friends to break him out so he can be free. Now out on his own, Naruto must learn to survive in a world without allies, without friends. However, when a certain lime-green haired jinchuriki comes along who is facing the same problem and is looking for someone who understands her, Naruto suddenly finds that maybe his banishment from the leaf village wasn't so bad after all.

Jiraiya his sensei helped him with this confidence. After a few months Pain killed Jiraiya. He lost his confidence again until he met Kakashi. Kakashi taught him almost everything he knows. Then his confidence then got out of hand. That confidence caused him to get in a fight over a girl. This almost killed him. During this time of being hurt, he learned more about himself. Once he got back to moving and training, Pain killed another mentor of Jayhaya...Kakashi. After Kakashi's death, Jayhaya came to the hidden leaf village quick as he could. He met Naruto doing this. They have an emotional talk before they decide to team up and kill Pain. When they killed Pain, Jayhaya figured out more about his parents and ancestors.
