Eventually, I gained the confidence to turn it into some sort of story of my own, introducing my cats (in real life) as well as game characters I've made online. I hope whoever reads this story enjoys it! (Apologies if mistakes are made within the book.) Note: This first series takes place in a different version of the Lake territory. Echo: The Kits Take A Stand
This is a warriors fan fiction that was already completed on google docs about six months ago. There are nine chapters and I will release them all pretty quickly because they are all already finished. Me and my friend (4lifejayfeather) wrote this a little while ago, our writing skills have improved since then I promise. Echokit and her friends live in a very large Clan called PondClan where a strange sickness has been infecting many of the cats. The sickness is not very deadly, but it can kill cats slowly overtime. The medicine cats are determined to find a cure for it, but meanwhile Hazelstar creates a new rule for the Clan: As long as the sickness is still around, no kit may become an apprentice until the age of 10 moons to protect them from being exposed to the sickness. Echokit, who is only one moon old and already feels ready to be an apprentice, is obviously outraged by this, just as many of her siblings and friends are. Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her. I certainly don't think that they are BAD, but I am definitely going to fix them up once I've got more time (just some little grammar tweaks, updating plot points, and fixing some dialogue). So, just keep that in mind when you read this. I hope you still enjoy!
