Sam and Dean Winchester are 15 and 19 years old when their Father dies. Because their Mother already died 15 years ago they have to move to their uncle Bobby who lives in Sioux Falls. A new Home also means a new school which means new people. Dean being the cool guy everyone likes seems to have no problems with the new situation. Sam being more of a "Nerd" was always quiet and a little shy but since his father died he became way quieter and stops talking to nearly everyone.
Castiel and Gabriel Novak 18 and 15 years old had lived in Sioux Falls ever since they were adopted by the big Novak Family. Gabriel also known as "The Trickster" loves to pull pranks and making people laugh, so when the new quiet and obviously sad kid comes to his class he wants to make him smile again. Castiel has always been different when other people talked with each other he just loves to watch and observe them which makes him being able to read people in a few minutes, that works at everyone except the new guy in his class, at the first view he acts like the normal, nice and popular guy but he also seem to have a dark cloud above his head. He is a riddle for Castiel that he wants the awnser to.

The Winter of 1959 is here, and Dean Winchester meets Castiel Novak at a party. When Dean finds out Castiel is gay, and quite literally has secrets up his sleeves, how will he react? For Dean knows he is most definitely straight... Right? ~~~~ I got this idea from a roleplay I was doing on Supernatural Amino. It's almost the same thing with some changes. We didn't intend for this to be a story so, yes, lots of Twist and Shout references in here. Don't hate me. I was Dean in the roleplay by the way. One day at a time (Destiel and Sabriel high school AU)
This story is about Dean and Sam Winchester moving to a new high school in Kansas and they meet Castiel and Gabriel Novak. Can Castiel and Gabriel help Sam and Dean get over their trust issues? Sam and Dean had a lot of bad things happen to them because of their sexuality but the worst things always happened to Dean because he wanted to protect his baby brother. Dean and Sam's parents were accepting of their sexuality and after the figured out that Sam and Dean got bullied, Mary, John, Dean and Sam both moved to Kansas to start a new life. John works as a mechanic full time with his son Dean, who works part time. Mary works at a hospital as a nurse and Sam works at a library stacking shelfs. Castiel and Gabriel on the other hand had it good with their sexuality. Everyone at school was very accepting with their sexuality. They never got picked on and their dad, Chuck, and brothers were very accepting even if they came from a religious family. Dean became a selective mute after when of his old classmates threatened him, saying if he every talks again he would hurt his family. He has never talked to anyone since he was 14 years old only to his little brother a couple of times. Dean only communicates with his family by using sign language. Sam has always been shy with people and always wanted to be alone and only talked to people he trusted. Castiel works at a coffee shop, he also helps out at his older brothers, Lucifer and Michaels new family diner. Gabriel works at a candy store shop and also helps out at the diner.
