In a world almost a millennia after the fall of our civilization, humanity is doing a good job recovering and has reached a wild west-esque area.
Alejandro San Antonio, a strapping, too-serious-for-his-age youth of fourteen years, is on his way to Millhaven for dreadful personal reasons. His pensive mood gets thoroughly interrupted when a skinny, chatty child with its own business agenda in mind jumps into his way.
What starts with banter and mild annoyance turns out to be two paths of two troubled children crossing. An unfortunate encounter and for the best, as time will show.
