Lucy Heartfilia has had the most traumatic year of her whole life. Both her parents died in a car accident, her best friend Levy McGarden moved to another country, and she just recently got diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. She became depressed and had no motivation to do anything. She almost never left her room. One day Levy came to visit Lucy and see how she's doing and actually convinced her to go out shopping with her, but on Lucy's way there she began to feel dizzy from not having enough to drink and eat and she collapsed. When she woke up she saw a pink haired boy sitting on a chair beside her. She eventually finds out more about him and they get closer, but she doesn't know his dark secret.
