Familiar

Young Josefina Marra has a good life - a loving family with a mother that tends to be strict, a soft-spoken father, and an impish sister - and her closest extended family is visiting today, as they often do.

However, a chase after her younger sister leads her to another world, where everything is simultaneously magical and terrifying, and she braves through the forests and kingdoms of her favorite fairytale land.

All along her adventure she is aided or hindered by classic Wonderland characters that she finds so terribly strange...

...and yet somehow so familiar.
