16-year-old Annie is new to Mystic Valley, with her little sister Hayley and her father John. Hayden has grown up in the town with his mother Vanessa. After losing his father in an accident on the town bridge at the age of five, Hayden has lived a very sad and miserable life, until, at the age of 17, he meets Annie. 

The two of them get themselves caught up in a mess, which puts their families in danger. They work together and grow closer to put away Marcos (an old and powerful witch), and all of his creations. Finding out that they both had a parent who died as a witch fighting Marcos, they discover something that helps them with fighting Marcos. Can they defeat Marcos and his group of powerful witches?
