In a world of strange secrets and hidden elemental powers from magical gems; 
Life is going well for 16 year old, rich and charming ( #8 popular) Jay Merlin at Newland High school and his friends Annie can and Philip Wilson. Until their boring and simple geography and history teachers are sacked and new strange teachers are brought up. 
Looking like a normal school year, The trio (three friends) don't suspect anything as their teachers keep giving them mysteries assignments in groups to solve, all having to do with ancient histories and fantasies. Then the annual history exhibition comes up in the school and they come up 1st overall, thanks to their scientific, logic and brilliant minds. On the night of celebration, they find themselves in the geography lab, following their teachers who have been acting strangely.
Being at the wrong place at the wrong time exposes them to unexplainable things as there is a vast explosion of in-organic and prehistoric matter and certain powers are released when 3 Magical gems in desperation to survive, bond with each of the Trio. 

But ordinary powers aren't just released, secrets are exposed, forgotten things are remembered, sleeping creatures and powers are awoken, the power they carry now has been wanted for so long. When he founded it he saw something shining so he decided to look. When he wanted to grab it a bright light shined and blinded Jay. When he opened his eyes he saw he wasn't in the same woods. He walked trough the other woods and came by a fort. He wanted to get inside but some watchman stopped him. Then somebody came out and it was a man who looked like he wasn't that old. He letted Jay inside and they talked about what is happening. It was war between the humans and the Tokats. The Tokats are from another dimension in that world and they want to get the crystal of Terra. They want that because if they get the crystal they only need the chosen one to get their power back. The Tokats are looking like humans but the colour of their eyes is very different than that of a human. Jay decided to go help the humans fight. Time passed and Jay was observed by the Tokats. The Tokats decided to took Jay with them to the Tokats fort because they wanted to let Jay help them. Jay didn't want that so he ran back to the human fort. Not long after that the Tokats came to the human fort and taked the crystal but they also kidnapped Jay because they knew then that Jay the Chosen one was. If they wanted to use the crystal they must use all of the power of the Chosen one but then Jay would die. Jay didn't want that.
