Loosely inspired by Hamilton: An American Musical, by Lin-Manuel Miranda. More related to actual history, but, "Hamilton" the musical still exists in the universe and it may or may not serve as a plot point.

What Is A Legacy?
After Thomas' family died, before he left for France during the Revolutionary War, he never allowed himself to grow close with anyone. But living in Virginia led to the inevitable: crossing paths with his rival, Alexander, and meeting Eliza and Philip Hamilton. But when Alexander constantly works, and is away from his family, Philip ultimately turns to Thomas for advice, and the two of them soon become as thick as thieves. When France enters their own revolution, it lands Thomas in danger, and teaches him how to deal with his loss. I swear, the story is better than the summary. I do not own any of these characters, all song lines/references belong to Lin Manuel-Miranda. Alexis is also a huge theater nerd and fangirl with health problems so when she hears that theres a feild trip in a month to go see Hamilton she gets super excited. Once they go to see the play however their world changes. Is it for better or worse? Or thats what the story was supposed to be.
