Atsumori is a young nobleman born with naught much but his beauty, his family's wealth and prestige, and the ability to enchantingly play the flute. When he was born, a soothsayer foresaw his uselessness, ineptitude, and his early death. But suddenly, he finds himself in the middle of two wars- a supernatural one and an earthly one. And what shall he do with the attentions of that young vassal, Kumagai, who works for the enemy of his family?
Atsumori: Oasis is a retelling of the Japanese Noh drama Atsumori. No previous knowledge of the drama is necessary, but some knowledge on Japanese honorifics and mythology would be useful. Also, a small warning to homophobes and historical traditionalists, since this version includes content that may differ from the exact Japanese text.

Yuki Komori, the adoptive brother of Yui Komori, was always treated with disdain. No one ever looked at him with anything other than disgust, and he was never shown love.
