In the early year of 1834, Mure was tortured in the infamous LaLaurie manor in the French Quarter of New Orleans, not yet the known tourist city of the 21st century. After the brutal death of her sister Lea, she is imprisoned in the attic; later known as the torture room from hell. A miserable and desperate cook sets fire to the kitchen, but after the fire dies down the society of old New Orleans discovers the cruelty of Delphine LaLaurie and who she truly was. Drawn to the premise of the rumor, the ruling family of power in New Orleans interrogates the slaves and realize the truth behind their capture and enslavement; they were werewolves from the surrounding crescent moon pack. The Mikaelsons take an interest in the enslaved and begins their search for the royal bloodline, but not without two hearts falling for a curly haired beauty; Mure.
