Survival. Betrayal. Elation.

Survival;

 Thats all she has done her whole life, surviving her way through the endless journey. Trying to earn money, stay a well-balanced life, taking care of a brother, maintaining money, maintaining a job.

Betrayal;

 Felt every piece of this emotion, ranging from frustration, anger to helplessness, and pessimistic feelings. Friends? She thought she could depend on them with her life, but were they really true friends?

Elation;

 Still having a brother, still having a job, still having a roof to be underneath. Not much elation for her, but at least she still has a life to explore, right?

~

I slowly walked towards the door frame, trying not to make a sound. I took a deep breath, and stepped outside, not looking back, afraid the tears and horrible memories would come back again, haunting me for eternity.

I promised myself that night, that I would never cry again.
