In the city of Wellspring, there's a killer at large. He's been killing people for several months now, but has yet to be identified. The City's beloved newslady, Victoria Silvers, was walking home late one night and was murdered right outside of her apartment. Her murder case drove her friend Rue Jones crazy. Now Rue is on a mission to find the killer. While Rue is running herself ragged over her best friend's death, the unknown killer ends up killing several more people.
