Descendants of Legends

I don't belong to your world. I've known it ever since i was little. Ever since i was dropped off at this crummy place thirteen years ago. The stupid orphanage, nobody will adopt me. Why? Cause i have demons, not just the imaginary kind but the real kind. Monsters under the bed aren't real for any kid except me.
See? I told you i was different, i don't even know how i got here. They found me floating in the lake by central park. All i have from my old life, is a stupid necklace. It's actually a ring with a chain but whatever. The ring has an M in the middle and has stars around it. I was told that when i came into the orphanage i was holding a blade with funny symbols on it. But nobody will actually give it to me anymore.
I guess i'll never find out where i truly belong, if this feeling isn't all in my sick delusion then i have no idea what the point of living is anymore.
One night while i'm staring at the moon, i here knock at my window. I look down and see this boy in all black. Covered in tattoos, he looks about my age. What thirteen year old has tattoos? I slowly open up my window, looking over the boy, uttering the words that started it all.
"What are you doing out here?" his head darts up to look into my eyes, confusion written all over his face.
"You can see me?"
