Meeting Rafael

The bell had rung. School was out. Summer had officially begun.

I was putting my books and loose papers into my bag when a tall, hard figure bumped into me causing all my papers to fall out of my hands.

"Shit- I am so sorry. I didn't see you there." A boy with warm chocolate eyes and golden brown hair apologised to me.

My heart skipped a beat.

It took me a second to realise he had already bent down and started collected my papers which were spewed across the hallway.

"A-All good. I didn't mean to be standing in the middle of the hallway. Sorry." He flashed me a heart stopping grin from his crouched position and I joined him in collecting my papers. I nervously tucked my dark brown hair behind my ear. His hand knocked against mine and a faint blush crept up my cheeks.

I noticed his hands were large and boyish. His fingers were long and slender but firm. Suddenly he was standing up and was handing my papers back to me.

"I'm Raf, by the way." He grinned at me.

"Emma." I smiled back.

"Well have a nice summer Emma. See ya around." He said walking away from me and out of the doors.

"Likewise." I replied. He flashed me another breathtaking smile over his shoulder.
