All his life Emmet has lived in Naoifa - a small town in Ireland, based on conservative and strict religious values and seen to the outside world as a cult-like organisation. When Emmet starts having feelings for Matthew he knows that his secret won't survive in this town. But he also knows he must make the sacrifices to save himself before they change him. Nessa is from New York, sent to Naoifa by her close-minded mother. At first it just seems to her like an outdated small town but when she soon realises there's so much more beneath its surface, her first instinct is to run. Little does she know it's already too late.

"God made everyone perfect, right? Then why is my existence a sin." Nick is a trans boy who is just trying to be himself. But sadly not everyone excepts him that way. His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024.
