When Emmet starts having feelings for Matthew he knows that his secret won't survive in this town. But he also knows he must make the sacrifices to save himself before they change him.
Nessa is from New York, sent to Naoifa by her close-minded mother. At first it just seems to her like an outdated small town but when she soon realises there's so much more beneath its surface, her first instinct is to run. Little does she know it's already too late.
