In modern Themis, hybrids are looked down on. They're the outcasts. Throughout the territories, hybrids stay hidden among the pure. But there is a secret sanctuary sought out by the hybrids. A place where everyone is judged not by their DNA, but their personality. This place is called Hybrid Island.

Lachesis, the royal liar; said to dispense the thread of life and deal with the past.

Klotho, the strong-willed fighter; said to create the thread of life and work with the present.

Atropos, the stubborn scholar; said to cut the threat of life and manage the future.

What happens when these three overlooked, underestimated and misunderstood strangers are thrown together?

When their companions tell them about an island where they could finally be themselves, where they are needed, they fly there immediately. At first, it feels like home, but they start to notice a darkness lurking within their supposedly safe new home.

Are they just paranoid, or is there truth behind their suspicions?

Their long-time companions have been acting rather odd. Soon the three start to notice that their companions know more than they say. More than they aren't telling them. Aki shows very little emotion towards anyone but his brothers. Ke'oke'o acts far too human-like. Kye seems to hide an ancient inner pain for Aki. It seems a bit suspicious. . .

A prophecy binds the three, but they will have to learn to work together. To put their differences and quarrels behind them in order to survive the terrors thrown their way. Along with learning to deal with each other, they have to learn to deal with their inner demons. And with their newfound visions, it's making it harder than it needs to be. As their pasts and futures are revealed, other truths are brought to the surface as well.

Fate brought them together for a reason. The only question is, was it to save them, or destroy them? Much is to come in their dark and mysterious adventures, some of it they might not be ready for.

This is book 2 in the No Turning Back trilogy. If you haven't read book 1, read that before reading this. -- Vizor's gone. Everyone spared from his wrath is safe, and finally there's peace. It's been three months since the evil demon's death, and everything's going great. Or so everyone thinks... Dusk is unsure whether his father is gone entirely. He of all people would know his true power. And his suspicions are confirmed when another murder pops up. With a chance to save his possessed friend, Akik finds a way to bring the gang to his home planet - Xero. There, he knew someone that could help. But tensions are high. The Demon-Angel war has still raged on in Akik's absence, and his Xeronian friends are worried. It's been over a year since the return date of Akik's mission, so most everyone believes he's dead. So... what now? ----------- This story contains themes relating to blood/gore, demons, war, trauma, death, and (slight) insanity. If these themes bother you, I suggest you be careful reading this story. There are Blazafor1 ships in this story (though I refer to it as Blakik because.... Well, you get it if you read book 1). Not too crazy in the beginning, and it also has nothing to do with the Mature rating on this story. Though if you are uncomfortable with ships such as this, I once again suggest you be careful reading this story. Hybrids and the Hybrodeic language belong to NephaliMations :D ACHIEVEMENTS 1K Reads - May 30, 2022 2K Reads - IDK? 3K Reads - February 2, 2023 4K Reads - July 6, 2023

However, she didn't quite live up to their standards so they banished her from theirs lands. Anima lived by herself for 7 years, training herself, sometimes stumbling into unwanted battles but eventually she sought it as her training. After having nothing else to learn, she decided it was time for her to be among the humans who is half her kind. To her it was a big advantage on knowing how both species fight when it came to war. Izumi, a boy not so skilled happened to have the privilege of being admired by Anima which is was almost impossible, and she took it upon herself to train him. For Anima, for the first time in all her life, she felt like if she belonged even though she had to hide her true self. But not being full demon she couldn't tell exactly where it was but she knew that it knew where she was. In a realm where the boundaries between myth and reality blur, five unlikely companions find their destinies intertwined, each carrying the weight of a past that haunts them and a future that calls to them. Leading them is a being unlike any other, forged in the fires of both machine and infernal magic-a part robot, part demon, struggling to balance the cold logic of their mechanical side with the fiery passions of their demonic heritage. Beside them walks a creature once feared as a legend-a mythical beast, born of ancient lore and monstrous strength, now turned good by the power of a heart that refuses to succumb to its dark origins. Their redemption is a fragile thing, constantly tested by the shadows of their past. The group is anchored by two brothers, ordinary in appearance yet extraordinary in spirit. In a world dominated by magic and fantastical beings, these humans stand as a testament to the true power of humanity. Their courage, ingenuity, and unbreakable bond are a beacon of hope, proving that even in a land of wonders, the strength of the human heart and mind can prevail against the mightiest of foes. Finally, there is the folklore monster, a creature of nightmares brought to life, who now seeks a new path. Learning to have a heart in a world that fears them, they struggle to redefine their identity, torn between the monstrous instincts that once defined them and the emerging compassion that could save them. Together, this unlikely band embarks on a journey fraught with peril and discovery, not just of the world around them, but of themselves. As they face trials that would break the strongest of souls, they find that their greatest strength lies not in their individual powers, but in the unity forged by friendship, understanding, and the shared pursuit of a destiny greater than any of them could achieve alone.

I'm Xirasti a pure demon that lives in hell. When I was a child on accident I found an angel trapped in the bottom of a cavern. From the first moment I saw him he was mystical and enchanting. As I grew older he became beautiful and had me enraptured. Then I set him free. Things did not go as expected. What I do know is: I almost died for him. I burned for him. I bled for him. I sacrificed for him. I deceived for him. I stole for him. I longed for him. Then once he is free I do them all over again and again. Because Sam, I'd follow him anywhere. What better reason is there to sacrifice yourself for someone other than love?
