The TARDIS dissolves around her and she finds herself stranded on a cold, ice Planet where the crash happened.

During exploration Nyssa injures herself, but is thankfully rescued by Commander Metzer - who is young, handsome and kind, he has a score of men with him, some seriously injured - Commander Metzer's brother in law, Dr Johann Schmidt, has tried to console Commander Metzer through his tragedy ... One that Nyssa can heal - but is worse to come?

Nyssa has to rely on her wits to survive as one of only two women: The second one is a cheeky brunette called Clara Oswald, amongst a lot of men - and Commander Metzer has to learn to allow his heart to care again ...

Though what sinister force is behind this sudden unexpected meeting, and will The Doctor be able to find Nyssa before it is too late?

"Eleven hundred and three!" Amy breathed. "You were nine hundred and eight the last time we saw you. And what does that make you, Cat? Over a hundred by now!" "Two hundred twenty one, actually!" She said with a laugh. "I can hardly believe it!" Amy peered over Catherine's shoulder, her attention grabbed by something else. "Who's that?" She wondered. Catherine looked around, and saw the figure, and though it looked familiar, she didn't mention it. She turned back around. "Who's who?" Amy looked back at Catherine and her worry cleared. "Sorry, what?" "What did you see? You said you saw something." Amy shook her head with a frown. "No I didn't." "Ah, the moon," the Doctor said, turning and laying on his back, his head on Catherine's lap. She laughed and pushed it off gently. He laughed as well. Amy gazed at them again, wondering what happened for one hundred and ninety five years on that TARDIS. ~ Catherine's story wasn't done. Actually, it's far from over. When two blue envelopes with purple stickers appear on the TARDIS doorstep, both the Doctor and the Destroyer know that a war is about to start, and no amount of running will stop what is coming. They can only face it head on and hope that they make it out alive. ~ Second book in the Eternalian Chronicles Disclaimer : I do not own Doctor Who or any of its characters.
