17-year old Lily Deverau is living her beautiful life in San Diego, a big pretty mansion right near the beach.16-year old hard working Roseann Deverau living on the country side of Kentucky and in her father's farm. Lily loves her rich life in San Diego living only with her mother and nothing will ever change that. She has everything, the designer clothes, the popularity, the good reputation and a handsome boyfriend. Roseann adores her life in the quiet countryside with having to work all day, feed the horses, milk cows and rip weeds from the garden; but once a tragedy takes place and Lily's mother is suddenly rushed to the hospital, she is forced to move in with her sister Roseann and father Gary in Kentucky. Kentucky out of all places seems like Lily's worst nightmare that she was forced to move to, she would rather live in anywhere but Kentucky, and not only that. They live in a farm, and she was told to work. While these sisters find a way to cope with one and another with the hard hit of reality in tragedies.

While Marley waits for her mother to come & take her away tona wonderful new life - one that will never happen. All is well in their samll world until the day the girls collide with the rich of Charity, Connecticut. They attend the local school & try to fit in but everyone knows where they live & the circumstances of why they are there. Unaware that the towns gossip is targeting the girls as unworthy & not respectable they each struggle to fit in & to achieve the popularity & happiness that they desire. Sometimes at a high cost. In the tough times that lie ahead will the girls fall victim to the towns gossip? Or will they learn to trust in the people they care for & who care about them by discovering the true meaning of friendship & family?
