I've never really liked the idea of being a celebrity if I'm honest. Everyone watching your every move, everyone commenting on every outfit, commenting on everything you do - especially your mistakes. I'm not a celebrity of course. I certainly wouldn't be by choice. The thing is, I am slightly associated with a couple. Four to be exact. Named Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford. Or 5 Seconds of Summer. But now they're my new roommates in my New York apartment (again, not my choice), everything has changed. Rumours swirling about romance, the inability to leave the apartment with paparazzi following me - not to mention to thousands of fans asking where the 'Famous Four' are. Anyway, that's the life of a celebrity. {Authors Note: I have not read any fan fictions with this plot line before coming up with this idea. If there are any similar fan fictions, I'm sorry but I have not copied your idea on purpose. The same goes if anyone has copied this idea: you may copy it but not exactly, change a few things. Calum Hood was the stereotypical jock in high school. He was the star of the football team and basketball team. The majority of his old classmates loved him, envied him, or wanted to be him. Now that he was at the University of Melbourne on a football scholarship, he was hoping to reach that status yet again. He wasn't going to university for the classes and academics; he was going to pursue his career in football. He was quite the opposite and he was okay with it. He didn't want to be popular and have his every move analyzed. It also meant that he would've had to hangout with the jocks, who he didn't like at all. Now, due to his uni class schedule, he would be free of the majority of the jocks and hopefully frat boys. They were bullies and he didn't want to have to be associated with any of them. He would make sure of that. I've never been good at explaining things or giving people an answer. But I've always been good a listening. That's why I'm best friends with Calum, that's why my boyfriend is Luke. They needed someone to understand them, help them. But I also needed someone to back me up when things get rough. My two favorite boys meet Michael then they meet Ashton. You may know these boys to be Five seconds of summer. But they are the 5 seconds that saved my life. Hope doesn't know what waits for her in the end, or who waits for her. *Not a real hate story, It's actually a fanfiction. _____________________________________ I never understood those people who are obsessed with a certain celebrity. The concept itself never made any sense. Sure, I think Adele is a talented person and all, but I'm not going to worship her. And yeah, One Direction is talented too, but really? The squealing can go down to a minimum volume so my eardrums don't pop. But there's that one band that I've just about had it with. They seem to be the new rage, and it's getting on my nerves. 5 Seconds of Summer is the worst thing that ever came into my life. They have my whole entire family hooked and all my friends following them like a cult, and I'm not going to let them get to me. That's why I, Katie Burns, am going to start a hate club against 5 Seconds of Summer. I mean, it's not like I can end a fandom single-handedly, but the band brings back those harsh memories. They say when you're famous, everything is supposed to be amazing. Everyone likes you, you have friends and money, and you never get lonely, but they lied. When you're on tour with one of the most popular bands in the world, with three of your best mates, you think everything is going to be amazing and wonderful. It sucks.
