WARNING: This is not a simple story. This is half a love story, 3/4ths of a tragedy, and 5/12ths total disregard for reality. This is a story that's messy and complicated and long. This is the story of terrible things happening to a moral spectrum's worth of people, and more importantly, It's the story of how they continue to survive it all.
Fresh out of prison for a crime she can't remember, Ace Wilson just wants some peace and quiet, but peace and quiet don't come easy in Syrin city. Join our protagonist as she navigates past ghosts and newer debacles side by side with a cast of colorful characters, including a dreamy doctor, comedic cop, and opinionated occult enthusiast.
Author Note: This story is a long time labor of love that I've finally decided to post somewhere. Started as fanfiction, grew like a devil to an unmanageable size. Over the past few years I've grown so close with all my characters and I hope you do as well because that's what this story is really about, the people. A lot of this is just trash not written with the mind of other people reading it, so heads up, some bits will be disturbing or gory (mind the prologue).
I have this whole thing written down in multiple places, so I just need to fix it up and post it in bits. Posting will range from lots of entries at once to not a lot for a while.
