But what lays beyond the moonlight? She knew nothing, nothing that could possibly tell her the troubles. Though her heart raced, she was always watching her mother, waiting. To stay meant everything, to leave meant nothing, at least to her. She wished not to displease her mothers and fathers, but the young daughter of moonlight could not withhold her excitement. She would not be able to lead the moon's army, so why the refusal to let the nineteenth child see the beautifully carved earth?
Noxis has lived her whole life in the palace of moon, guarded by her parents. She wishes to see the stars from above, so she leaves her domain and finds herself on a rather peculiar journey.
