Astrid is a girl who lost her confidence after she finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her right before she leaves from the rainy Washington to the sunny California. Everything is different there. She starts finding herself back, but not her old self. She becomes her new self with her new real friends. But let us say that her friends are a little bit different compared to her fancy rich 'friends' in Washington. She starts going to clubs till 5 a.m., drinking alcohol, her grades are getting worse, ... Her father is happy for her that she's living her life but her mom does not agree with her new mentality and group of friends. But everything becomes even worse when her mom founds out that she's in love with one of her new friends named James. James isn't handsome, smart or very rich. He's just a simple boy who's very handy and funny but that's not good enough for Astrid's mother. When her mother founds out that her daughter started a relationship with James she forbids her daughter to see him, so their relationship becomes a secret. Their relationship undergoes even more problems when she becomes a famous model. Every day they meet each other on a secret place. But one day, he doesn't show up.
